Overall quite comfortable stay on holiday. Obliging staff, savoury breakfast, practical location so close to the bus stop, the city centre and a taxi. Immaculate rooms in this small hotel.

The location of the hotel was right on a main road, so during the night was rather noisey. The tea coffe facilities in room were sufficient but a bit skimpy on biscuits, would have liked Scottish shortbread!

Easy access into Edinburgh with the bus stop just outside. Ted and Dot where great, made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The room was very clean and tidy with no complaints. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. We tried the three course evening meal which was excellent, my wife is vegetarian and she loved the food!! Highly recommended

Host tried hard. Very good room. Good breakfast.
No bar, no late check in (though they stayed up for me), if you don't have a car then there is nowhere to go. Expensive for a posh b&b.
